Hi girls, I am very self-taught but I am not up to much of a job doing great looks, mainly eye shadows. It is true that with practice, after watching and re-watching videos, reading articles, you get better, you lose your fear of brushes, another battle is my nails with the tremors of age, hahaha, one resource I use to guide myself is to ask a lot in cosmetics stores (some time ago my ex-partner advised me), little by little I am understanding about foundations, primer, compact powders and so on. But, here comes the but, the look usually doesn't turn out the way you think, it can be a little frustrating.
Well, in short, I'm going to play matchmaker. Many of us could really use some lessons on everything related to making ourselves pretty, to being divine, divine.

I specifically apply a clear base coat to my nails, and I'm not an expert. Then I apply two, or one, super thin coats of colour so that they are uniform. Between each coat I let it dry for about 10-15 minutes, but it depends on the polish.
When I apply the color layer, I first leave the brush lightly loaded, starting at the center of the nail bed and going to the end very slowly, then one side, paying special attention to the edge and not staining the skin. Then the other side. The result is something like this:
Personally, I give more importance to my nails than makeup. Maybe because it is also my pending subject... hehehe
Big fat kisses!!
September 23, 2024 at 22:34 #4240You are more meticulous than I am. I can't wait to get my nails done. I have glued them to my socks sometimes because I didn't want to wait. I should take better care of my nails, because they make them more beautiful. In your photo they look very well done. How we like those little big details when they are for typing.
Imagine how lazy I am that I even thought about going to a store to make them.
What I do know is that a good brand is almost always a great product without adding much product, with an excellent shine and even thickness, where you can't see any lack of product, with second and third brands the result is complicated. I speak almost like a painter. LOL
I find makeup very complex and at the same time exciting, I put more effort into knowledge and technique.

October 4, 2024 at 20:15 #4249The biggest problem with CDs that I have encountered over time is that they usually require dressing for a short period of time, one day at most. This is the most common. For this reason, we are often not interested in using permanent or high-end products because we are not going to use them on our fingers for a long time.
Therefore, for the CD that is interested in painting their nails only one day and does not want to spend a lot of money on a professional manicure product that at the same time is a very easy product to remove with acetone, I recommend the brand low cost: Pink Duck, which can be purchased at Primor perfumeries in Madrid.
This product costs 1 or 2€ and has a high water base, which makes it easy to remove without leaving any trace of nail polish, although it does have decent pigmentation I must say. Using cotton buds to remove any traces of makeup from the sides of the nails, there is no trace left after a day of use.
As a shine, I have been using clear polish for a few years. Technic Base Coat, which costs €3 at Primor, and I can tell you that it works very well. However, I do not recommend its Pinduck counterpart, as I have tried it and it does not give good results.
I would also like to point out that I recommend any W7 gloss, which is cheap and has great results. I have several with glitter (I can never go without them), to do different types of manicures, and they are all fantastic. Highly recommended for their quality-price ratio.
I should write a blog post or create a section talking about how to do a manicure in a simple and cheap way. I have always loved it and I think it is essential. I know some tricks that can help at home, and maybe later I will share them with you.
Greetings queens 😉

October 9, 2024 at 19:58 #4255Hi everyone, I don't know, I wrote a reply a few days ago and I don't see it here. Well, I'm going to write again.
Violett, you can make as many posts as you want, we are here to absorb as much as possible. I have to say that I am very careless with nail polish. This last time I tried to be patient, applying the product slowly, without going overboard, as the kids would say. Could you tell us about the preparations before applying?
I'll take note of the brands you listed. I'm a bit of a compulsive shopper, too many products.
October 15, 2024 at 12:06 #4272Hello Berta,
We haven't deleted any forum posts as far as I know. We're still in the testing phase with the platform, we still have to continue adding content, improve the interface and hosting. Thanks for letting us know.
Regarding what you told me, you should first file your nails and shape them. Also remove your cuticles, being careful not to make yourself bleed. This will give more volume to your nails and they will look much better once you finish your manicure.
Once that is done, I apply the nail polish I want, trying not to go overboard. I try to apply it first in the center of the nail, taking a small amount of product and then I spread it towards the sides so that it is evenly distributed. It is important not to take too much product with the brush because if you apply too much product at once, when it dries, it will form lumps and it will not look good, even if you apply gloss afterwards.
Then I let it wait for a while, approximately 15-20 minutes. It is important not to wet your nails and to be a little patient because if you use a nail polish with a lot of water base, if it is not too dry, you will be able to scratch the paint easily.
Then, with acetone and a cotton swab, I go over the edges and remove all the excess. I try to make it as even as possible on all sides of the nails. Once you've done this and it's dry, you can stick stickers, stamps, make drawings with a brush, or whatever you want. That's where you give free rein to your creativity.
And finally, add shine on top, following the same advice, do not use too much product. If you like matte top coats, the same goes. Go over the edges with a cotton swab and you're done.
This would be for a simple manicure, but the steps are the same if you were getting a French manicure, with the peculiarities of the process of getting a French manicure, of course.
I hope it helps you,
Greetings queens 😌😘

October 15, 2024 at 22:32 #4277Hi Violett, no way, I'm not saying that you deleted messages, I don't think that's the problem, it's happened to me three times already, I write the message, I hit send and it goes into limbo, because it counts it, but I don't know where it's stored.
I've been reading and watching manicure posts and you've even given me two big hints that I didn't know about. Thanks for the reply. In my last manicure I already applied quite a bit of what was written and I also did it more calmly.
Kisses
