One of the best places to visit in Madrid while dressing up is the Retiro Park, my personal location for stunning backdrops during my own crossdressing photo shoots. With its variety of landscapes, including the Crystal Palace, the Rose Garden and the Retiro Pond it is a perfect location for your crossdressing photoshoot in Madrid.
Chueca:
Another must-visit neighbourhood for crossdressings is the Chueca district. This vibrant LGBTQ+ district is home to a wide variety of bars, clubs and shops where crossdressings can feel comfortable and accepted. If you are new to crossdressing in public, Chueca is the perfect place to start. Its people are known for their open-mindedness and acceptance, so you can feel safe expressing yourself freely.
Calvario bar:
Bar Calvario is a well-known LGBTQ+ bar in Madrid's Lavapiés neighbourhood. Famous for its open mic nights and left-wing clientele, this bar is a very welcoming place for crossdressings. Violett and I frequent this place regularly.

Madrid Pride is one of the largest and most iconic Pride celebrations in the world, and is also a popular destination for crossdressings. The city's vibrant culture, rich history and laid-back attitude make it a safe and welcoming environment for crossdressings to express themselves freely.
During Madrid Pride, the city transforms into a rainbow-coloured oasis of diversity and inclusion. Transvestites from all over the world flock to Madrid to celebrate their identities and be part of this vibrant and inclusive community.
At Madrid Pride there are a number of events and activities aimed specifically at crossdressings. For example, every Thursday there is a crossdressing night at La Encomienda bar, and Travestilandia nightclub organises various drag shows and events, including crossdressing nights.
crossdressings can also participate in all other Madrid Pride events, such as the Pride Parade, the Chueca Festival and the WorldPride Human Rights Conference.
Madrid Pride is a time for crossdressing people to celebrate their identities and be themselves without fear of judgement. It is a time to come together as a community and demand equal rights and equal treatment for all.
Security advice:
Madrid is an exceptionally safe city, especially for crossdressings in Madrid. In my personal experience with over 200 public crossdressing outings, I have never been subjected to any kind of discrimination and have never felt unsafe. However, it is always good to be prepared for anything, so I would recommend carrying pepper spray as a safety measure. Pepper spray is legal in Madrid and can be easily purchased at Tienda Shoke, a self-defence shop in the city.
